Testimonials

“We can’t recommend the superb Helsinki Cèilidh Band highly enough. They are outstandingly talented musicians and performers, and our event guests are always amazed by them and complimenting them. The band are thoroughly professional, flexible, and really friendly and easy to work with. They always create an amazing atmosphere, and keep the dancefloor packed and everyone entertained for the whole evening. Thank you for making our ceilidhs so much fun!”

“Helsinki Cèilidh Band made our wedding celebrations unforgettable. We used to live in Scotland but for our guests the experience was once-in-a-lifetime! Superior musicians, great instructions for the dance, can’t complain on anything. Thank you for making our special day even more special!”

“Having a ceilidh band at our Finnish-Scottish wedding was so special to us, it was like having a piece of Scotland with us in Finland. All the Finnish guests loved the dancing as well and it was all in all a fantastic ceilidh. People still talk about it years later – ceilidh and a sauna, a winning combination!”

The Grants

“The Helsinki Cèilidh Band covered the first dance, ceilidh and a late-night disco for our wedding and they were absolutely brilliant. The band was very accommodating for song requests but could also recommend and organise a song list without any effort from our side, which was much appreciated during the hectic time. Communicating with the band was easy and quick. The acoustic version of Chasing Cars for our first dance was beautiful and the dance floor was jam-packed for every single ceilidh song! Particularly impressive as a large part of our guests had never seen (never mind joined a ceilidh!) before but they managed to guide our Finnish guests through the steps as well and everyone had such a great time. We got so many compliments from the guests on the choice of our band and even the catering staff came to watch the dances!”
